Flicking Tutorial

Flicking a ball well is an attribute that you need in all positions, here I am shooting at Goal.

  1. Ball always starts in front

  2. Elbows low

  3. Have your stick just being able to touch the ball

  4. Hands apart, and potentially bring the lower hand up the stick a couple of inches

  5. Drop your weight down

  6. Stick slides in, and as soon as it connects - you deliver the power

  7. Left hand temporarily into right forearm

  8. Try to whip through the ball at the end to generate maximum power

  9. Adjust your feet slightly squarer to flick to the right

  10. Try not to make too much noise upon connection

Happy flicking people.

I liked how the post breaks flicking into small steps so beginners can build control fast. Last term I used urgent last minute assignment help UK when deadlines piled up and I still tried to practice each move the right way. A friend and I filmed our hands to fix timing, and that helped a lot. Learning grows when you slow down and ask for support when needed each day.
