PROJECT 8 for 2024 will be the biggest and best yet. We want to help you as a player fulfil your ambitions, goals and improve as a player. Traditionally Project 8 was for younger players, but for the first time we are opening it up to all ages. Since 2018 we have helped well over 150 players, from grass-root through to those now representing England, Wales, Scotland and other outstanding representative honours. Many players struggle to obtain the coaching they need to become technically brilliant, amplify advanced skills and iron out bad habits. This is where we come in, our expertise is unrivalled and such is the amazing results we have had.

Why Project 8?
We go further than your normal 1-2-1 Sessions, with a five session programme, (8 hours of coaching) that is filmed, analysed and with planned sessions to see improvements week in week out. We work with you to plan frequency, timings and at time content too. You may have a particular focus one week, (based on a performance) such as marking, or leading, or you may wish to look at consolidating the basics ahead of a trail and aspects to stand out at an assessment.

FREE PHC STICK
We have a range of sticks for players to choose from, including the JP50 for budding juniors, the P70 LB and the Extreme LB PX100 that retails at £279.00. You can choose any of the above sticks when you enrol in any of the Project 8 programmes starting in April 2024 (in person) and 2024 online.

MATT
Matt is the head coach, and has been delivering the Project 8 for 6 years now. Over this time Matt has seen over 30 players reach International level under his expert coaching and tuition. Matt is recognised as a World-leading coach with 60k followers on his social platform and as an Ex International himself understand what 'great' looks like. Alongside these achievements he works with many aspiring individuals from: club, school and Masters Hockey.

Matt recognises how important it is to be technically sound, and invests a huge amount of time into players looking to fine-tune their game, and become more confident, flourish and perform in pressured environments.
​
Stretching players to achieve their goals, enjoy the process and reach new heights is key, and Matt brings an enthusiasm to the process that is infectious.
Luke is a ambitious and determined coach who was selected for the Great Britain Hockey Advanced Coaching Programme in 2021. He comes from back to back seasons of success, named coach of the year at one of the largest clubs in the UK last year as a performance coach at London Wayfarers, developing 3 junior England internationals in the space of 12 months. His work as part of the coaching teams at the University of Bristol and London Wayfarers National League programmes was crucial in achieving the most successful seasons in the clubs history's (2021/2022 and 2022/2023 respectively).
Now, he is the Team Bath Buccaneers Ladies Head Coach in England Hockey Division 1 South who have international players such as Katie Partridge (Wales) and who compete against the best players in the country. Alongside his work with Team Bath Buccaneers, he is also the United Kingdom Armed Forces Head Coach competing against teams all around the world.
LUKE
Ollie
Ollie joins us as Captain of Reading Men's team that play in the Domestic Premier League. As a Junior International he has played at some of the very highest of levels and thrives in the Performance Environment.

As a former Head of Hockey at a large Independent school understands the importance of working relationships and bringing on players in varying situations.
​
What can you expect from Ollie? A technician of the game, full of knowledge and experience, ready to share with you, no matter age or ability.
